Dusted Big Mac Tacos

These Big Mac tacos went viral years ago, and they’re still popular today…for good reason! I mean, what's not to like about a burger…in a taco?

I might like these better than a cheeseburger itself. They have all the same delicious flavors, are lighter on your stomach, and in my opinion, have the perfect balance of meat to cheese to taco shell “bun”.

They might not look like much when you flip them over, but that’s the idea of it. The burger is meant to be equivalent to the amount of ground beef you would have in an actual taco. It mirrors the Smashburger concept. You only have to cook it face down for a matter of seconds, and while it might not look all that appealing the grease from the burger is the PERFECT mechanism to get that tortilla shell perfectly toasted and delicious.

Like any burger, you could add whatever toppings you wanted, but I love melting tons of ooey gooey cheddar cheese, draping it with burger sauce, and topping it with plenty of dill pickles and Roma tomatoes.

These are a very quick weeknight dinner meal or a perfect party pleaser! I highly recommend using a Blackstone griddle or similar flattop to grill them outside. It can be a very greasy dish to make in your kitchen in a frying pan…BUT the end result tastes just as good. I’m always the cook and my husband cleans up so I do this outside to save him the hassle.

Because these burgers are smashed so thin, the Dusted Seasoning really kicks these up a notch giving them the saltiness needed to flavor each bite of your tacos.

Trust me, this is a recipe you don’t want to miss!
